At its core, Trakr creates compact digital fingerprints of audio content. These fingerprints capture the unique characteristics of a recording or composition, not the audio itself, but a mathematical representation that can be matched at scale.


When new content is scanned, Trakr generates a fingerprint and compares it against our reference database in real time. Matches are returned with full metadata: track title, artist, rights holders, and licensing information.

Content enters Trakr through multiple paths: direct file upload, URL submission, API integration, or automated platform monitoring. We accept all standard audio and video formats.

Trakr extracts the audio layer and generates a compact digital fingerprint. This process is local and secure — we never need the original content to be stored or shared. Fingerprints are mathematical representations, not audio files, and cannot be used to reconstruct the original content.

The fingerprint is compared against our reference database of recordings and compositions. Our matching engine is optimized for both speed and accuracy — returning results in seconds even at massive scale.

Every match is enriched with metadata and rights information: track title, artist, ISRC, rights holders, and licensing data. This transforms a raw identification into actionable intelligence.
